Documentary Wedding Photographer in Sardinia, Italy & Worldwide

Shooting in silence.
I photograph your day, from Sardinia to Tuscany, Sorrento, Lake Como and Lake Garda.

No poses, nothing stage, only real moment.
My photography is based on pure candid moments, sometimes emotional, sometimes crazy and fun.
I photograph in silence, never interfering, allowing things to happen in a completely spontaneous way.

When I meet future couples, it’s essential for me to clearly explain my photographic approach during the wedding and why I love to shoot in “silence.”
I’ve always been attracted by documentary photography. It truly reflects me, it’s a style that feels like my own. Being an introverted person, I like to stay in the background and observe everything as it naturally unfolds, in silence. I let moments happen freely, without staging or manipulating them in any way.
I never give directions: I Immerse myself into the silence, hunting for fleeting moments and capturing them within geometric frames, empathizing with the emotions of others, and telling the story through the unnoticed deatails. The real, raw and spontaneous moments that define a wedding day
So I can truly reflect the emotions and details of wedding day through photography
Because my approach during a wedding day is peculiar, it’s very important to me that my photographic style fully aligns with my couples expectations.
The couple has complete control over every aspect of their wedding day, from where they get ready, to how and when. I will simply be there in the background, telling the story of the moments of their special day.
I love photography because it allows me to feel free to capture, in my own way, moments that are completely spontaneous: fun, emotional and full of joy.

Coverage

A coverage that fits the flow of your day

01.

Intimate Weddings

For celebrations with just a handful of guests, where every glance and every embrace counts. Fewer people, more genuine moments to document as they unfold.

02.

Full Day Coverage

My most requested coverage: from the quiet of getting ready to the last dance, so nothing that matters to your story is left out.

03.

Multi-Day Celebration

For destination weddings that unfold over several days, from a welcome dinner or pizza party the night before, through the wedding day, to a farewell brunch or pool party to close it all.

More than one day

Beyond the wedding day

Anniversary & Vow Renewal Sessions

A year later, or many years later, some couples want to go back and celebrate again. I document anniversary shoots and vow renewals with the same reportage approach as the wedding day itself.

Proposal

Planning to pop the question in Italy? I document the surprise as it happens, discreetly from a distance, capturing the real reaction the moment she says yes, and the joy right after.

The final delivery

What you receive after the wedding

Digital Gallery

A curated, professionally edited selection of your wedding day, delivered through a private online gallery for easy sharing and downloading, in high resolution.

Printed Albums

For those who want to hold their story in their hands, I offer fine art printed albums as an addition to the digital gallery, so your wedding day has a physical home beyond a screen.

questions

Wedding photography, FAQ

01.

What does documentary wedding photography actually mean?

It means I document your day as it truly happens, rather than staging it. My work isn’t about luxury or perfection, but about real moments, sometimes emotional, sometimes fun. I photograph in silence, never interfering: you keep complete control of your day, and I tell its story from the background.

02.

Do you only photograph weddings in Sardinia?

Yes, weddings take me across Europe and beyond. Alongside every corner of Italy, in recent years I’ve photographed weddings in Copenhagen, Cambridge, Spain, Berlin and Zurich. Traveling for work is simply part of how I do this job: I handle logistics, equipment and travel arrangements myself, so you can have the same documentary approach wherever your wedding takes place. Outside Sardinia, travel expenses such as flights, ferries and accommodation remain the couple’s responsibility

03.

Will there be posed portraits, or only candid photos?

My style is reportage, so all the day is documented as it naturally unfolds. Couple portraits and family formals are only done if requested for a maximum of 5 minutes staying at venue you’ve chose and I keep them brief so they don’t take time away from enjoying the day.

04.

How many photos will we receive, and how long does delivery take?

You will receive a curated selection of the best images from your day, professionally edited and delivered within 120 working days through a private online gallery.

05.

How do we book you, and how far in advance should we get in touch?

Sardinia’s wedding season books up quickly, especially between May and September, so reaching out as early as possible secures your date. Payment is usually split between a confirmation deposit, a second installment before the wedding, and a final balance on delivery.

Awards & recognition

I am a member of several international photography associations and have received numerous awards and recognitions. The one that means the most to me is winning the title of Fearless Photographer of the Year for two consecutive years.
